Owl theme revisited and finished for this fall!

Hello friends! Just stopping in for a quickie post. Was a crazy year and crazy summer. I had a great trip out east, visiting my daughter in the spring. I ended up having surgery on my knee, to clean out my torn meniscus(injury was in January) in June! So camping was a lot lighter this year, but I still managed to get down to my summer site a bit this year.

So I also worked on my fall owl theme for Serenity the Avion and wanted to share my projects and photos for that! It started with this fabulous owl book. I found this last winter!

The individual blocks were sooo much fun to make. For the entire quilt, I made 25 of them, each owl different!

I only went to one event after I changed the decor. But it was a blast. It was the vintage Trailer rally held at Turkeyville in Marshall, Michigan! I called it  a year after that event to rest my knee and catch up things at the house as well!   Here are the photos from the rally that I took!
Little flamingo embroidery from my daughter, Salina!
Being a blast from the past 70's event, had to find some fun accessories for the weekend. Found this cute purse at the Goodwill there to go with my outfits!
Fun owls and retro details every where
oops got stuck in with the rest...he's cute, he can stay LOL
The weather could not be more perfect. The only outside shot I took. It was in the morning and the sun was at a bad angle. I love my vintage owl blow mold lights I got last year!
A darling vintage owl set that I found on Etsy!
The bed was so cozy and the quilt turned out so amazing. Very happy with the results!
Come join me for a cup of coffee!!
So cozy in there! I always want to take a nap when I peek in the back!
ooops another owl block snuck in...
view from the back!! I just want to hang out in here forever!
Even though I am done for the season, the wander lust is never far from my soul!! Happy Trails my friends!
oh goodness, so many of these owls are so sneaky! Another cutie!
owls every where for sure!

and as per my normal, I am already working on the next theme. Am pretty much skipping over Halloween, yes I know, so sad. But will make up for it with my Christmas decor!! Sneak peek of the Avion's Christmas theme! A Christmas Cheer!  Cocktails and Macarons theme!  Here is the curtain fabric and coordinating pics for the inspiration!

I have already started the quilt...some fun Cocktail blocks that are from a pattern from Suzy's Sitcom site. The rest will be my own original!

I hope you enjoyed my photos!! Until next time!!
